Free Embellishments and Pages

I have a great deal of free embellishments that I have found over the years on the internet. Today I will share some of my favorite websites.

If you are using Storybook Creator Plus software, you will notice an icon on the top left side of the screen called "My Stuff". This is where you can upload all of your digital embellishments or paper that you have found on the internet or have purchased. I suggest you name each embellishment or groups of embellishments and pages. For example, I name all of the letters I import as "Jane's letters". Then all of my letters are in the same folder. When you open up your project, all of the embellishments will be under the embellishment tab.

Creative Memories Project Center has a good deal of free embellishments. From animals to soccer balls, zig zags to bling.

My friend Kathy has a great webiste called Digi Dandy Designs . Kathy creates her own embellishments, page layouts and paper.

Other free resources are listed below. Not all of the sites will show their freebies up front, so you might have to do a bit a searching. Have fun, and remember, find your own creativity in your digital pages - be unique!

Digital 12 x 12 layout using photo backgrounds.

A mini demo using a pictures as your background in a 12 x 12 digital page.

This is fun! This 12 x 12 layout was made with Storybook Creator Plus.

First I chose the picture that I wanted for my background. I added it as a background. To make the appearance translucent, I used the opacity tool.

Next I grabbed three photos that were taken in the same area and placed the pictures on my page.

For fun, I used an edge for each picture. The edge is "bubble"

I added a simple text box and the page is complete.

This page was created in about 10 minutes. Easy & fun! Give it a try!
